He noted that due to the situation with sea freight and the cost of international settlements, the profitability of supplies fell by 2 times, while prices for imported equipment and spare parts for Russian agricultural producers increased by 40%, and the costs of financial transactions by 10%.

"Our fertilizer producers, whose losses amount to about $1.6 billion, have no less problems," he added.

Earlier, Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev, during a meeting with President Vladimir Putin, said that more than 21 million grain had already been harvested in Russia.
