According to Kadyrov, a few days ago, a "small group of thugs" from Ukraine entered the territory of the Russian region from Ukraine.

The head of Chechnya said that Ukrainian militants carried out a "heinous attack" on the car of the Russian Ministry of Defense, which was transporting food for the military. The car was accompanied by only two Russian soldiers, who had only service weapons.

According to him, Ukrainian terrorists "unleashed a barrage of fire from all their weapons" on two soldiers.

"The bandits passed off this vile massacre as some kind of heroic act, as if they had already captured almost the entire Belgorod region," Kadyrov said.

He also published a video with the appeal of Russian fighters from Chechnya demanding that the militants not hide in the fields, but "go out to them."

At the end of June, Kadyrov said that Chechen units prevented an attempt by a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group to break into the territory of the Belgorod region.
