The Russian Defense Ministry said that the Ukrainian military made new unsuccessful attempts to attack in the NWO zone during the day. According to the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov, in the Donetsk direction, thanks to the work of the South group of troops, air and artillery strikes, nine enemy attacks were repulsed in the areas of the settlements of Zolotaryovka (LPR), Mayorsk, Vesyoloe, Maryinka, Vodiane and north of Kleshcheevka (DPR).

Aviation hit the manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Novomikhailovka, Dyleevka, Belaya Gora and Alexandro-Shultino (DPR). In addition, two ammunition depots of the 38th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 118th Territorial Defense Brigade were destroyed in the areas of the settlements of Razliv and Vyemka (DPR).

According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, up to 185 Ukrainian soldiers, three armored combat vehicles, four vehicles, as well as D-20 and D-30 howitzers were destroyed in the Donetsk direction during the day.

On the Krasnoliman front, units of the Center group, with the support of aviation and artillery, repelled three enemy attacks in the direction of Chervonaya Dibrova, Kovalivka and Karmazinivka (LPR).

Along with this, enemy units were hit in the areas of the settlements of Nevskoye, Makiivka, Novoegorovka, Raygorodka (LPR), Yampolovka and Terny (DPR). In addition, in the area of the settlement of Torskoye (DPR), the activities of the Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group were suppressed.

According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the enemy lost a total of more than 100 soldiers, one tank, four armored combat vehicles, seven pickup trucks, as well as D-20 and D-30 howitzers.

In the Yuzhno-Donetsk direction, air strikes and artillery of the Vostok group of troops hit the manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Makarovka (DPR) and Levadne (Zaporozhye region). In addition, in the area of the settlement of Priyutne (Zaporozhye region), a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group was destroyed.

On the Zaporizhzhia front, an enemy attack was repelled in the area of Malaya Tokmachka. In addition to this, two ammunition depots of the 23rd Mechanized Brigade and the 36th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed in the areas of the settlements of Uspenivka and Rivnopillia (Zaporozhye region).

According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the enemy lost more than 175 servicemen, three armored combat vehicles, two vehicles, two D-20 howitzers and a US-made AN / TPQ-36 counter-battery radar in these areas during the day.

In the Kupyansk direction, air strikes and artillery of the Zapad group hit the manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Stelmakhovka (LPR), Figolevka, Kalynove, Zagoruykovka, Timkovka and Krasnoye Pervoe (Kharkiv region).

In the area of the settlement of Novoselovskoye (LPR), the activities of the Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group were suppressed. In addition, in the area of the settlement of Vovchansk (Kharkiv region), an ammunition depot of the 1st Special Forces Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed.

During the day, up to 30 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, two armored combat vehicles, three vehicles, Msta-B and D-20 howitzers, two D-30 guns, as well as a US-made AN / TPQ-50 counter-battery radar were destroyed in this sector.

In the Kherson direction, up to 35 Ukrainian soldiers, four vehicles and an AN/TPQ-36 counter-battery radar were destroyed during the day. In addition, in the area of the settlement of Veletenskoye (Kherson region), an ammunition depot of the 123rd Territorial Defense Brigade was liquidated.

The work of aviation, missile forces and artillery

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation also announced a new strike with high-precision long-range sea-based weapons on objects where Ukraine was preparing terrorist attacks against Russia using attack drones. As noted in the department, the goal of the strike has been achieved, all designated objects have been hit.

A day earlier, the department also reported on the continuation of retaliatory strikes on production workshops and storage sites for unmanned boats in the Odessa region.

According to the Ministry of Defense for July 21, aviation, missile forces and artillery of groups of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation hit 102 artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in firing positions, manpower and military equipment in 123 districts during the day.

It is specified that in the area of the settlement of Rivnopillia (Zaporozhye region), the fuel depot of the 36th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed, and in the area of the settlement of Novomikhailovka (DPR), the command post of the 79th Air Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was hit.

Air defense systems intercepted 16 HIMARS multiple rocket launchers and destroyed 14 drones.
