Sources of the publication added that in the following weeks, the level of losses decreased to 10% due to a slowdown in the counteroffensive and a change in the tactics of the Ukrainian troops.

One of the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine told the NYT that the drone removed half a dozen Western armored vehicles that came under fire.

"They all burned down," he said.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Ukrainian militants refuse to control foreign-made tanks, since foreign combat vehicles are a priority target for Russian military personnel.
