Rogov: The Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to get on the road to the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, but the Russian Armed Forces are blocking their attacks

This was stated by the head of the public movement "We are together with Russia" Vladimir Rogov.

According to RIA Novosti, his words, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are attacking from the north-east of the Vasilyevsky direction, trying to wedge into the line of defense of the Russian Armed Forces. The goal of the Ukrainian army is to go to Vasilyevka, from where the road opens not only to Tokmak and Melitopol, but also to the ZNPP, he said.

"Our active defense strategy is yielding results, the enemy cannot advance on the line of contact," Rogov said.

Earlier, he said that the Russian Armed Forces have switched to active defense on the front line in the Zaporozhye region, while they are also conducting counterattacks.

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov announced a change in the strategy of the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - he stressed that advance at the front is no longer the main task.
