This was stated by the Acting Permanent Representative of Russia to the European Union Kirill Logvinov in an interview with Izvestia.

According to him, the meaning of the hypothetical dispatch of the EU armed forces to Ukraine is to "weaken Russia by proxy."

"At a time when the EU leadership, contrary to the principles of European integration, has embarked on a long-term militarization of the economy, nothing can be ruled out," Logvinov stressed.

He added that there is no need to talk about restoring relations between Russia and the European Union.

On June 15, the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, said that the EU would increase the supply of advanced weapons to Ukraine.

In November, Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of Russia's Security Council, said that Russia would not allow anyone to tear away its new regions.
