Liseberg has a large chocolate wheel with Marabou's products and the question of whether to continue with it will come up at a board meeting on Monday, the municipal amusement park announced on Monday.

Managers at Parks and Resorts, which operates Skara Sommarland, Furuvik in Gävle, Kolmården and Gröna Lund in Stockholm, have contacted all suppliers to ensure that no products in the parks are produced or purchased in Russia.

"We have Marabou in our parks, but we keep ourselves informed and have a continuous dialogue with our suppliers. Should it turn out that we receive new information, we will act on it, writes Annika Troselius, information manager.

Mondelez in client letter: "Not business as usual"

Mondelez's CEO Martina Flemström writes in a customer letter to, among others, Liseberg that Marabou is a Swedish brand and that production is local.

"But it is certainly not 'business as usual' – Mondelez International has limited operations and discontinued all new capital investments and advertising in Russia", writes CEO Martina Flemström.

Regarding the reasons why the company's international owners do not withdraw from Russia, she writes the following:

"If all operations in Russia are stopped, it would mean that it would be more difficult for ordinary people to get hold of storage stable food and that it would create great uncertainty for 3000,<> employees and all the farmers who depend on Mondelez International, an additional risk is also that the business is handed over to a third party that can use all the proceeds for their own interests."
