Clarence Engström and his girlfriend were sitting on a park bench enjoying the sun in Farsta Centrum when they suddenly heard four or five bangs and saw people running past.
"I grabbed my girlfriend and we ran and took cover. I didn't have time to reflect on what happened," he says.
The shooting occurred just a hundred yards away.
"We didn't see the actual incident, we just heard the bangs. You get scared and shocked when things like this can happen," he says.
Another witness said he was outside a kiosk with his brother when they heard the shots.
"They came out of nowhere, we ran into the kiosk while the shots continued. Inside, there were several people crying and screaming," he says.
