We are talking about the proceedings on the claim of Ukraine against Russia under the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide of December 9, 1948.

"The Russian side is disappointed with the Court's decision, which was taken contrary to the evidence presented to the Court that such practice contradicts the rules of the Court and the general principles of justice. This decision of the Court will be used against the International Court of Justice and all international justice," the ministry said.

The Russian Foreign Ministry focused on the fact that all states admitted as third parties take a pro-Ukrainian position and are trying to put pressure on the Court.

"The Russian Federation considers such an "avalanche-like" entry into the case of states that are not related to it, in favor of one party to the dispute as an unacceptable violation of the principle of equality of the parties and abuse of procedural rights," the department concluded.

Earlier, the official representative of the President of the UN General Assembly, Polina Kubiak, responded to the call of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to exclude Russia from the UN General Assembly. She noted that Russia has the right of veto in the UN Security Council, so the UN Security Council cannot make such a decision.
