Zhang Ge, Deputy Director of the Economic Development Bureau of the Guangdong-Macao Intensive Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, said that with the release of the "Several Measures to Promote the Development of Integrated Circuit Industry in the Guangdong-Macao Intensive Cooperation Zone in Hengqin" and industrial cultivation, the cooperation zone has now formed an integrated circuit industry cluster that has begun to take shape. This school-enterprise cooperation closely combines the actual needs and cutting-edge development direction of the industry in the cooperation zone, and hopes that the two sides will collide with new sparks and produce more results in Hengqin.
On the same day, the signing ceremony of the patent license of the University of Macau, the Institute of Science and Technology of Zhuhai UM and Zhuhai Yiwei Semiconductor Co., Ltd., as well as the signing ceremony of jointly building the integrated circuit talent base of the Guangdong-Macao Intensive Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, was also held.

Ma Xuyuan, Vice President of the University of Macau, said that the State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI of the University of Macau has a first-class level in China. The joint laboratory, patent licensing and talent base are another active exploration of the innovative cooperation model between the University of Macau and Zhuhai Yiwei Semiconductor Co., Ltd.
