After a week of intense search, in which even a custom tool has had to be designed, the Central Operational Unit (UCO) of the Civil Guard has found late on Tuesday afternoon bones in the well of Manzanares (Ciudad Real) in which it was looking for Jesús González Borrajo, businessman disappeared in 2019.

The UCO reached this point after the confession of the accomplice of Antonio Caba, the intermediary who is allegedly the material author of the disappearance and death of González Borrajo. Caba has been imprisoned since last March for the murder of another businessman, Juan Miguel Isla, who disappeared last summer and was found inside a well in the town.
In both cases, Antonio Caba was the last person to see them alive after they closed businesses. In the case of Isla, the sale of a family farm. He had collected an advance of 50,000 euros and Caba mediated the transaction.
González Borrajo sold two high-end cars with his help and had 14,000 euros in cash as a signal. It was also the intermediary who was the last person who was with him.
His accomplice, Gaspar, has been the one who, in both cases, has led the agents to the place where the bodies were located. In his statements, he said that he only helped Caba to dispose of the bodies for a tiny amount of money and for "friendship".
