The United Nations said that Israel has killed 112 Palestinians in the West Bank since the beginning of this year, double the number it killed during the same period last year 2022.

This was stated in the "Protection of Civilians Report" issued by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the occupied territories, which was published on its website.

Between January 29 and May 112, Israeli forces "killed <> Palestinians" in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, the report said.

The report pointed out that there are 5 Palestinians killed by Israeli settlers, pointing out that "a total of 4296,2023 Palestinians were injured during clashes with the Israeli army, since the beginning of this year <>."

As for settler attacks, the report recorded "409 attacks on Palestinians and their property, of which 304 caused damage to property and 105 injuries."

The report said that "18 people were killed and 111 injured in Palestinian operations in the occupied territories and Israel during the same period."

He also spoke of "the demolition of 575 Palestinian homes" since the beginning of this year, including "85 homes in areas under the control of the Palestinian Authority, 239 homes in Area C, and 251 homes in East Jerusalem."

The 1993 Oslo Accords classified the West Bank into three areas: (a) under full Palestinian control, (b) under Israeli security, civil and administrative Palestinian control, and (c) under Israeli civil, administrative, and security control and constituting about 3 percent of the occupied West Bank.
