On Saturday, the American Days car meeting continued on Öland and one of the people on site was Jonas Thollander. He hopes to drive up a ramp and have his car judged by a jury.

"It's my brother who has drawn me into the interest. He has been building cars for many years and is a few years older than me. When he needed a helper in the garage, I had to help and then it turned out like this, says Jonas Thollander.

"Details I have created myself"

He has driven all the way from Vingåker to Öland and the car that he shows at the car meet on Saturday he has built himself from different car parts. His most frequently asked question is whether it can actually be driven.

"It does! That's a big bonus," laughs Jonas Thollander.

"It's fun to keep going. You get a lot of ideas in your head and then you fix them. There are a lot of details on the car that I have created myself, it is not available to buy anywhere and that's probably what's fun," he says.
