"Our legal mechanisms provide such an opportunity, and we are ready to consider this in accordance with the Kosovo election law," RIA Novosti quoted her as saying.
According to Osmani, the Serbs can initiate the electoral process and sign the petition - she stressed the need for their participation in the elections.
"Vučić was asked not to interfere, not to put pressure on citizens not to participate," the Kosovo leader added.
Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron said that he and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz called for municipal elections in four regions in northern Kosovo.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said that the Kosovo authorities did not want to negotiate with the Serbian delegation on the situation in the region within the framework of the summit of the European Political Community in Chisinau.
