He noted that the authorities cannot change the positions of parallel imports every week, so such a decision on parallel imports in relation to JJ will continue to operate.
"When our distributors are convinced and confirm that fellow Johnson & Johnson manufacturers retain their presence and direct deliveries, we will always make the opposite decision and remove the Johnson & Johnson brand from the list of these products," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
On May 26, it became known that the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia will add contact lenses of Johnson & Johnson, Alcon Laboratories Inc. and Bausch & Lomb brands to the list of parallel imports within two weeks.
Before that, on May 25, RIA Novosti, citing the press service of the official distributor, the pharmaceutical company Protek, reported that Johnson & Johnson had warned partners about the suspension of imports of contact lenses to Russia.
On May 30, Johnson & Johnson announced that it continues to provide Russian consumers with Acuvue lenses.
