According to Bell, first of all, the Armed Forces of Ukraine need modern radars and avionics to counter the Russian Aerospace Forces.

He noted that the probability of the Ukrainian army receiving F-16 models with such devices is low.

"A serious risk is that Kiev will get what it asked for - the capabilities of the F-16 - only to find that reality is far from meeting expectations," Bell said in an interview with Sky News.

Earlier, the head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin, said that Denmark and the Netherlands would lead the European coalition to train pilots of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to pilot F-16 fighters.

It also became known that the Netherlands received Washington's approval to train Ukrainian pilots to fly F-16 fighters.
