"Our latest results in curbing the activities of the so-called drug laboratories for the production of synthetics, synthetic drugs, they show that our neighbors are fully involved in this business," the minister said.

The detention of the producers of these synthetic drugs shows that some of them came from Ukraine and organized this work, Kolokoltsev said.

Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council Alexander Grebenkin said earlier that the special military operation greatly helped to close the supply channels for Ukrainian drugs intended for Russian youth.

At the end of March, President Vladimir Putin issued a decree in which he classified the activities of foreign special services and nationalist organizations involved in the smuggling and distribution of drugs in the Russian Federation as threats to Russia's national security in the anti-drug sphere.
