The six-time winners of the C3 have struck again! Unleashed from the start, Sevilla FC dominated Juve throughout the first half, but conceded the first goal by Dusan Vlahovic in the 65th, before Suso equalized in the wake of a superb strike from the left (71st).

And in extra time, it was the Argentinian Lamela who regained the lead at the penalty point a center served by Bryan Gil (95th) to propel the Andalusian club, record holder of the number of titles in C3, to a seventh final in seven participations.

The love story continues between the little sister of the European Cups and the red and white club. Sevilla FC were close to relegation to La Liga just two months ago, and now find themselves playing a continental final against "Special One" Jose Mourinho's AS Roma.

Juve overtaken

Excited, the Sevillians set their rhythm in the match from the start, pushed by the 42,194 supporters of a Sanchez-Pizjuan stadium in a trance, who sang loudly in the minutes before kick-off.

But the men of José Luis Mendilibar, the architect of this Sevilla FC that he resurrected from the ashes in a few weeks, have long stumbled on a perfect Wojciech Szczesny on his line.

Juve, on the other hand, made its thousand or so supporters present in Andalusia on Thursday shudder on rare occasions: a ladle too high from Angel Di Maria after a jewel of a pass from Adrien Rabiot (27th), and an overflow from Moise Kean who failed on the left post (33rd).

The French international midfielder thought he had opened the scoring in the 42nd, but his goal was immediately cancelled out for an offside by Manuel Locatelli, who had offered him the ball of the goal.

But like Nicolo Fagioli, sounded after a clash against Nemanja Gudelj and forced to go out on a stretcher (replaced by Leandro Paredes in the 41st), the Bianconeri seemed groggy all game, overwhelmed by the will and intensity of the Spaniards.

Another failure for coach Massimiliano Allegri. The expulsion at the end of the match of Marcos Acuna for saving time on the sidelines will not change anything. Seville, holds its new triumph, and now begins to dream of a seventh coronation.
