• 28-M Feijóo claims "that the other 37" condemned from the lists of Bildu disappear and the Government assumes that "they still have many steps to take"
  • Politics Sánchez appropriates the "defeat" of ETA to attack the PP

Pedro Sánchez and Alberto Núñez Feijóo have engaged in a fierce exchange of accusations on account of the electoral lists for the 28-M of EH Bildu during the control session in the Senate. The leader of the PP has demanded the President of the Government to "guarantee that his pacts with Bildu are over forever." And he has apostilled: "Either break with Bildu or break with decency."

Meanwhile, the head of the Executive, who has avoided responding to the request of the opposition leader, has accused the leader of the PP of committing an "infamy" by using the victims "for electoral interests" and has compared his attitude with that maintained by the PP after the attacks of 11-M in 2004. "The PP lied and defamed the victims of that tragedy for electoral interests," he said to applause from the socialist bench. "You, with your words seem determined to equal that infamy," Sanchez concluded.

The controversy over the inclusion of up to 44 convicted of terrorism in the lists of Bildu and the announcement made this morning by the abertzale formation that seven of them, responsible for blood crimes, will renounce their acts of councilor if they are finally elected in the elections of the next day 28, has starred in the face to face between the President of the Government and the leader of the opposition in the Plenary of the Senate.

The President of the Government has avoided by all means to ensure that he will not agree again with Bildu neither after the elections of 28-M nor after the general elections of December and has preferred to blame the PP for "instrumentalizing" the victims of terrorism, having done "everything possible so that the socialist government could not end ETA" and, in addition, to throw in his face the "infamy" of the attacks of 11-M.

Feijóo has gone straight to the point in his face to face with the president and has demanded that he commit to the words that he himself repeated in the electoral campaign: "I will not agree with Bildu". Their claim has fallen on deaf ears.
