The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the RT TV channel launched a joint project "Not One on One" on June 19, 2018.

A few months after the start of the project, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a new concept of migration policy. After the publication of this concept, a number of bills were adopted, which made it possible to significantly simplify the procedure for obtaining citizenship for compatriots wishing to move to live from abroad to Russia.

As the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk noted, the project is a vivid example of constructive interaction between the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the media community, and in five years it has proven its effectiveness and relevance.

"When RT journalists tell us another story about a person in a difficult situation, we do everything in our power to help as soon as possible. Together, we managed to provide assistance to more than 170 citizens. We not only gave them the necessary documents, but also restored their faith in justice. I sincerely thank the RT team for their indifference and look forward to further cooperation, "said Irina Volk.

During the work of the project, about 180 citizens who faced problems in obtaining Russian citizenship applied to the editorial office.

Thanks to the assistance of the Main Directorate for Migration Issues of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, 73 Russian passports were issued, as well as more than 100 permits, including a temporary residence permit, a residence permit, a refugee certificate and a certificate of a participant in the state program for the resettlement of compatriots.
