The German government has announced new military assistance worth about 4000 billion yen in Japan yen to coincide with President Zelensky's visit, and is poised to support the reversal offensive.

Italy, which visited Germany earlier, also announced that it would provide military assistance as much as necessary, and President Zelensky expressed confidence that the reverse offensive would succeed with Western military support, saying, "Now is the time to end this war, and we can decide the defeat of Russia in this year."

On the other hand, regarding the reversal offensive, he said, "We will not attack Russia," and emphasized that it was only to retake territory.
