According to the senator, the West does not intend to stop and will continue to finance and supply weapons to Ukraine.

"Moreover, the collective West believes that this is the last chance to stop Russia, since there has been a country whose leader is ready to make sacrifices for the sake of the global task that the West has been carrying out for hundreds of years against our country. This is Ukraine, which is ready to sacrifice its people in order to appease Western countries. So they have to spend money, because they do not participate in hostilities and do not want the war to take place on their territory. Therefore, I think that the efforts of the West will continue," Jabarov said.

He noted that the financing of Ukraine is causing enormous damage to many Western countries, which are now going through hard times.

The interlocutor of RT called this situation "a very dangerous trend" that brings the world closer to a direct conflict between NATO countries and Russia.

"A direct conflict will lead to the most disastrous consequences for Europe and the whole world in general," Dzhabarov said.

Earlier it became known that the commitments for budgetary and economic support to Kyiv from the G7 and their partners for the period from 2023 to early 2024 amounted to $44 billion.

This was reported in a joint statement adopted following the meeting of finance ministers and heads of the G7 Central Bank held in Niigata.
