Highlights: More than 140 houses were flooded in settlements in the Irkutsk region. The water level in the rivers rose as a result of active melting of snow. In total, five settlements of the Katanga region are under control. Over the next few days the situation will stabilize, as the average daily temperatures are expected to decrease in the region, says the head of the GUMCHS of the IrKutsk Region, Major General Vyacheslav Fedoseenko. Earlier, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia reported that 60 people were evacuated from flooded villages.
