The prefect of Côte-d'Or has banned protest demonstrations in part of the city center, while the anarcho-autonomous movement intends to organize an undeclared walk.

Mess in sight in Dijon this weekend led by the ultra-left? The prefect of Côte-d'Or has just banned by decree the protest demonstrations in a part of the city center of Dijon while the spring sale planned throughout the weekend should exceed 40,000 people. This ban comes at the same time as the "ZAD des Lentillères", more than 10 years old, organizes its traditional "spring festival".

Promotion of radical ecological actions

According to information gathered by Europe 1, territorial intelligence projects the presence of about 300 to 400 people from the anarcho-autonomous movement who have planned to march from Saturday 14pm in the streets of Dijon. An undeclared and therefore prohibited wandering, to promote "radical ecological actions", according to a note from the services.

"Disturbs to public order are expected," says a source close to the case. For its part, the prefecture recalls that "participation in a prohibited demonstration is punishable by a maximum fine of 135 euros".
