"Members of the European Parliament want the European Union to revise the amount of financial assistance to Serbia if it continues to support anti-democratic policies," RIA Novosti reported.

The parliamentarians also called on the EC to monitor the compliance of EU expenditures with the strategic goals of the association.

The European Parliament also called anti-Russian sanctions one of the conditions for Serbia's membership in the EU.

On April 6, Serbian leader Aleksandar Vučić said that he expects increased pressure on Serbia to impose anti-Russian sanctions.

According to Vučić, the world will no longer be unipolar, it will be either bipolar or multipolar.

He noted that the option of a multipolar world is more acceptable for Serbia.
