"Specialists of the Military Construction Complex of the Ministry of Defense of Russia have completed the construction of a new modern military camp to accommodate units stationed on the territory of the Chechen Republic," the department noted.

In total, military builders built more than 54 facilities on an area of over 50 hectares, including dormitories, barracks, canteens, a park area for military equipment and a sports complex.

It is noted that the work was carried out with the support of the leadership of the Chechen Republic.

The grand opening in the village of Sernovodskoye took place on May 8.

In October last year, State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin invited deputies to take patronage over military camps.
