Pedro Sánchez has announced, in an electoral act in Tenerife, the creation of a line of guarantees of the ICO to guarantee 20% of the mortgage to young people under 35 years of age and vulnerable families with dependent minor children.

The President of the Government and leader of the PSOE has focused his rally on the protected housing policy offered for the coming years. It has done so in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, one of the cities in Spain where the price of rents has risen the most.

Sánchez has defended his continuous announcements in pre-campaign as an example that his Government "does" not like the Councils of Ministers of the stage of popular government that "announced cuts". And he has assured that getting that in Spain there is up to 20% of public housing, as in the Nordic countries, is the objective that he poses as a "great national cause" and to which he summons "all Spaniards for the next ten years".

In his speech he accused the opposition of "posing problems to all the solutions" that the Socialists propose and has asked for a "more resounding majority" in the next regional and municipal polls "to continue doing". In this sense, he has repeated his criticism of the "rabid" opposition for the country's advances.

The socialist leader has emphasized in Tenerife the creation of employment and the reform of pensions. And he has assured that "Spain is the country with the greatest social peace in Europe". According to him, the national and nationalist right "only defends the elite to the people who are at the top" and has insisted its management should not be qualified as "sanchismo" but as "socialism, the force that advances societies."

He has taken for granted that in the campaign the decibels of the expletives will continue to rise and has asked his own "to leave the insults for themselves alone", in reference to the forces of the right that he has branded as "anti-European".

The President of the Government has ended his speech taking advantage of the Mother's Day holiday to assume that on May 28 it will be women who will give victory to the PSOE.
