He noted that after the explosion he lost consciousness for a few minutes, and when he woke up, he crawled to the broken windshield and the villagers helped him get out.

"In fact, I asked to bring me the phone from the car, and immediately gave all the orders, because everything was clear as soon as I woke up. Then a neighbor gave me painkillers," Prilepin wrote on his Telegram.

The writer thanked the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Gleb Nikitin, for promptly sending the helicopter.

"Already here I was informed that there were two mines. But this type was frightened and immediately ran away after the explosion of the first. If I had blown up the second one, everyone would have died," Prilepin added.

On May 6, Prilepin's car was blown up in the Nizhny Novgorod region. The guard was killed, Prilepin himself was injured. The UK qualified the incident as a terrorist attack.

On suspicion of attempting to assassinate Prilepin, Alexander Permyakov was detained, who, during interrogation, admitted that he had acted on the instructions of the special services of Ukraine.
