Saga Elme is a defender and plays for Ljunbyholms GoIF. She was happy with the day and received her medal.

"It's gone well but we lost the last game. It's been great fun, now I'm going to Öland and eat body cakes," she says.

The children keep track of the results

"The first year we had 34 teams registered. This year we have 99 teams, says Danne Petterson, organizer.

In total, over 800 children between the ages of 7-10 played at Tingbyskans sports ground in Smedby on Saturday. All teams played four games each, but without either elimination or podiums.

"Everyone gets medals and no cup winners leave, but the children still keep a very close eye on the results despite everything," says Danne Petterson.

Can you grow more now?

"There is a ceiling. We can't do just about anything. But if there are, for example, 110 teams next year, they are welcome, says Danne Pettersson.
