"The Secretary General handed over to all parties proposals for the promotion, expansion and extension of the Black Sea initiative, taking into account the positions expressed by the parties," TASS quoted him as saying.

Haq added that the UN calls on all negotiators to continue discussions, overcome difficulties and work on extending and implementing the initiative.

Earlier it became known that a high-level meeting on the grain deal will be held next week in Istanbul.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu noted that the prospect of extending the grain deal is unclear and depends on taking into account Russia's requirements.

Russian Minister-Counsellor Andrei Ledenev said that the grain initiative has become a commercial project.
