As noted in the document of the American agency, a number of persons working in Ukraine in the "peaceful CBRN areas" were forced to leave their professional activities due to the conflict with Russia.

In this regard, there is a potential danger that "opponents seeking to promote their own aggressive CBRN programs" will be able to use these specialists for the sake of their expertise, the Pentagon is convinced.

"The goal of the Cooperative Threat Reduction program is to reduce the risk of potential dissemination of expert knowledge through the introduction of a scholarship program for displaced Ukrainian subject matter experts in CBRN areas," the description says.

It is planned to involve up to 20 Ukrainian subject matter experts in the project, including those who have moved to other countries. If the initiative is implemented, they will be provided with the resources to carry out work or research within academic, research and industrial institutions for up to three years.

Earlier it became known that the United States began to install sensors in Ukraine capable of recording radiation activity.
