Realistic butterflies, black and white fairytale motifs and lifelike portraits. Also this summer, Oskarshamn invites international street art celebrities to paint murals on buildings in the city. Project manager Albin Wiberg is convinced that this summer's new artworks will be appreciated.

"So far, it has been entirely positive here in Oskarshamn. We have had some guided city walks and then everyone is very enthusiastic, says Albin Wiberg.

Now revealing the international artists

Those who will now make art out of three ordinary walls in Oskarshamn are Mantra from France, Case Maclaim from Germany and Phlegm from Wales. If you are curious about the process or the result, you should walk past Södra Långgatan and Fridhemsgatan in June this year.

No risk of getting scared

The artist Phlegm's works are described by Albin Wiberg as black and white fantasy motifs. Albin cannot agree that the motives can be considered scary for some.

"I've worked with him before and I'd rather say it's a bit of a fairytale motif, so I don't think there's any risk that anyone will be offended by that painting.
