The state grant is paid on behalf of the government and for 2022 has been distributed among 28 municipalities, with at least one vulnerable area. 25 of the municipalities have stated that the money has been used to finance field workers, among other things. In total, the grant has provided 300 new field workers around the country, according to the National Board of Health and Welfare.

Linköping and Norrköping municipalities are two of the municipalities that have benefited from the grant. Linköping received just over SEK 13 million and Norrköping just under SEK 10 million. Both municipalities used up all the funds allocated to them.

A total of SEK 460,300,000 was paid out to the municipalities in 2022.
