"We are already producing some spare parts on the Ukrainian market for Western equipment. Our enterprises, and not only state-owned, but also private, have fantastically learned how to do some things," Reznikov said in an interview with TSN. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.

He said that he personally held in his hands one of these parts for the American M109 howitzer.

Reznikov said that, in his opinion, the parts made by Ukrainian specialists were "better than the original itself."

Earlier, Czech President Petr Pavel noted that the main problem of the Ukrainian army is the lack of shells, which is why Western tanks become warehouse goods.

He added that Western countries are supplying Ukraine with effective equipment, but with a minimum amount of ammunition.

On April 29, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev announced the need to massively destroy the personnel and military equipment of the Ukrainian army.
