Corresponding changes are proposed to be made to the Federal Law "On Education in Russia".

Legislators propose a system according to which, no later than four months before graduation, a special commission will choose the future place of work of graduates.

The Ural Federal University (UrFU) previously announced an increase in the number of state-funded places for 2023.

In May 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law to increase the number of state-funded places in master's programs.
