The evacuation of their citizens from Sudan, which has been witnessing an armed conflict for two weeks between the army forces led by the head of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, and the Rapid Support Forces led by Mohamed Hamdan Daglo (Hemedti), deputy chairman of the Sovereignty Council, continues.

With the momentum in evacuations from Sudan, countries have announced the completion of the deportation of all their nationals, while others continue deportation efforts.

A ship carrying 1982,65 people, including <> Iranians evacuated from Sudan through the port of Port Sudan, arrived at the port of King Faisal Naval Base in the Saudi city of Jeddah.

Saudi state television said about 5,<> people had been evacuated from Sudan to the city of Jeddah since the start of foreign evacuations after clashes erupted between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces.

A Chinese warship with about 500 people on board and an Indian ship with 300 people on board also arrived at the port of Jeddah on Saturday.

Ethiopia, America and Egypt

Meanwhile, nearly 100 people fleeing the war in Khartoum have arrived at the border crossing of the Sudanese city of Qalabat and from there to the Ethiopian city.

This is the lowest number to reach the crossing over the past week, with nearly 5,46 people coming to the Ethiopian side from nearly <> nationalities since the clashes began two weeks ago.

More than 10,<> people, mostly women and children, have also arrived in Chad's neighbour, many of them leaving West Darfur state for the eastern Chadian city of Adri because of the clashes.

A U.S. government convoy arrived in the Sudanese port city of Port Sudan on Saturday to evacuate U.S. citizens, local employees and others out of danger in Sudan, a State Department spokesman said.

U.S. officials said the evacuation was carried out under the protection of U.S. drones, while the State Department said it was making intensive efforts to contact U.S. citizens in Sudan and facilitate the departure of those who wished.

However, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said that the evacuation of Egyptians from Sudan at the Wadi Sidna base has been halted due to several considerations, including security.
