Earlier, Hungary and five other countries called on the European Commission to ban the import of agricultural products from Ukraine until the end of 2023.

Romanian Agriculture Minister Petre Daya said that the European Commission is ready to consider the possibility of suspending grain imports from Ukraine until June 5 if Poland, Bulgaria, Hungary and Slovakia lift unilateral import bans.

On April 28, the ambassadors of the EU member states supported the extension for a year of duty-free import into the EU of goods from Ukraine, including agricultural products.
