A young man was killed and others were injured on Friday afternoon, during clashes that erupted with the occupation forces in different areas in the occupied West Bank, while the Israeli occupation army said that it arrested a gunman and confiscated weapons during a raid on the city of Jenin that caused clashes with Palestinian resistance.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a press release that the boy Mustafa Sabah (15 years old) was killed after being shot in the chest during clashes with the occupation forces in the town of Tuqu', south of the city of Bethlehem in the West Bank.

The ministry added that the number of martyrs in the Palestinian territories since the beginning of this year has risen to 103.

In Nablus, militants opened fire at a settler's vehicle between Jabal Sabih and Za'tara checkpoint, south of Nablus, and withdrew safely.

The occupying forces intensified their military measures in the area and at the entrance to the town of Beita, and began searching vehicles amid a heavy deployment of patrols in the area.

Clashes erupted between the youths and the Israeli occupation forces on Jabal Sabih in the town of Beita, following Friday prayers on the outskirts of the mountain and the start of the weekly anti-settlement march against the establishment of the "Evtar" settlement outpost.

Clashes also erupted in the town of Beit Dajan, east of Nablus, during which the Israeli occupation forces fired tear gas canisters at youths during the weekly anti-settlement march, targeting press crews and ambulances.

The Medical Relief Society reported that its teams dealt with two rubber bullet wounds to the chest and foot during the Beit Dajan clashes.

The clashes with the Israeli occupation forces spread to the village of Qaryut, south of Nablus, after settlers stormed the western area of the town, under the protection of the occupation soldiers, who fired live bullets and tear gas canisters at the citizens.

In Qalqilya, a number of civilians, including a journalist, were injured by rubber-coated metal bullets, and dozens were suffocated, during the Israeli occupation forces' suppression of the weekly march in Kafr Qaddum.

The Israeli occupation forces suppressed the participants in the march condemning the settlements and demanding the opening of the main village street, which has been closed for 20 years.

In the central West Bank, the official Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that five Palestinians were injured by rubber-coated metal bullets and dozens suffocated by tear gas inhalation during clashes with the Israeli army in the village of al-Mughayir, northeast of Ramallah.

It added that settlers attacked Palestinian land from the eastern entrance to the village, breaking a number of old olive trees, under the protection of soldiers who fired bullets and tear gas canisters.

Various areas of the West Bank witness weekly activities rejecting settlements on the lines of contact with the Israeli army, which disperses and pursues demonstrators inside their towns.

According to data from the Israeli human rights movement Peace Now, there are about 666,145 settlers, 140 settlements and <> informal settlement outposts (not licensed by the occupation government) in the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem.

Jenin clashes

The Israeli military said it arrested a suspected gunman and confiscated weapons on Friday in a raid in the West Bank city of Jenin that sparked clashes with Palestinian fighters.

A statement by the occupation army added that it shot at suspects who threw explosive devices at them.

On the other hand, Palestine TV said that the occupation soldiers injured two people, including a 14-year-old boy, and added that the forces obstructed the movement of ambulances and made arrests before withdrawing.

Earlier, Al Jazeera correspondent reported that Israeli military vehicles stormed the city of Jenin on Friday from several axes, amid armed clashes with Palestinian resistance.

The Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that the occupation forces stormed Jenin and its camp in the northern occupied West Bank.

Wafa added that the occupation forces deployed snipers on the roofs of buildings and houses in the area, noting that large explosions were heard in the camp, and the occupation forces prevent ambulances from reaching the camp.

Palestinian media said more than 30 Israeli military vehicles stormed the city and its camp.

Israeli Army Radio reported that the occupying forces were carrying out military activity in Jenin "in search of wanted persons."

For its part, the "Jenin Brigade" announced – through its Telegram page – that its members are confronting the incursion of the occupation forces, adding, "We detonated a number of explosive devices directly with the occupation mechanisms."

On 11 April, two Palestinians were killed by Israeli gunfire near the settlement of Alon Moreh near the village of Deir al-Hatab, south of Nablus.

The occupying forces have killed more than 90 Palestinians in the West Bank since the beginning of the year, including at least 25 in Jenin.
