Visitors to the Jordanian city of Petra, which the ancients called the Pink City, enjoy a multimedia show that combines dynamic light, music and expressive narratives.

The light festival will take place in Petra from April 23 to May <>, and includes an audio experience in Petra's siq and a three-dimensional light show on Petra's wardrobe by international artists.

The Petra Siq is the main road leading to the city and starts at the dam and ends on the opposite side of the treasury, which is a rock crack that twists about 1200 meters long and between 3 and 12 meters wide.

The festival aims to show the ancient city in an aesthetic and attractive way using modern technologies and through unique displays of light and sound by lighting the façade of the treasury, the most important landmarks of the city, with designs by a group of the most famous international visual artists.

Lana Al-Sakka, CEO of the company organizing the festival, said that they have been working on the idea for two years, noting that the festival is unique and is being held for the first time in the Middle East, adding that they hosted 9 international artists.

André Snober, director of a company specializing in creative art for three-dimensional digital painting that co-organized the festival, said the show grew out of the idea of how people could see the shape of the treasury two thousand years ago, to feel the life of the ancient Nabataeans.
