The traffic accident, which occurred along County Road 70, affected traffic between Fu and Ickholmen during the rescue work. No one is reported to be injured, according to SOS.

Earlier in the morning, a passenger car also drove into the ditch along Furudalsvägen, just northeast of Rättvik. And at 6 o'clock a car drove off the road and flipped over into a stream outside Grängesberg. And on the E45 just north of Mora, a truck has been involved in a traffic accident. No one was injured in any of these accidents, according to SOS.

Weather warning issued

SMHI has issued a yellow weather warning over the northern and central parts of Dalarna as a result of the snowfall that risks affecting the traffic situation. The warning is in effect until Tuesday afternoon.

According to SMHI, about 4-10 centimetres of fresh snow is expected and wet elements may occur, they announce.

In Sälen, it has gone from bare ground down in the village to snow-covered again in a few days – in the northern end of the county, even more snow is expected during the week, but nothing that needs to be warned about at present, according to SMHI.
