This is reported by the publication "Ukrainska Pravda" with reference to the source.

According to the publication, in early April, a closed meeting was held in Zelensky's office, to which candidates for the role of "curators of the counteroffensive" were invited.

"Zelensky decided that it was these proven people who should deal with the issue of recruiting new brigades for the counteroffensive," the publication says.

Earlier, Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov said that the American media are increasingly talking about the impending counteroffensive of Ukraine, but "the Nazis will not succeed."

The Washington Post wrote that the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, scheduled for spring, was postponed due to bad weather and lack of ammunition.
