The local P4 channels are Sweden's preparedness channel and have the task of being able to broadcast and provide the public with important information even if we are affected by crisis or war.

"We continuously practice our responsibility to be able to continue broadcasting radio even if something big happens, such as a major power outage," says Petter Anhoff, Programme Development Manager P4 Östergötland.

The Finnish Defence Forces' exercise Aurora 23 is currently underway, in which 26000,4 soldiers from fifteen different countries are participating. The Swedish Armed Forces are one of all authorities that must reach out with their information via radio broadcasts. On Monday, all P23 channels practiced sending out a message that the soldiers in the military exercise Aurora <> should report to their assembly point.
