It was at the beginning of last week that an alarm about a fire in an apartment building in central Borgholm was received. No one was harmed, but all property was swallowed up by the flames. Filip Jakobsson lived on the ground floor of the house with his partner and children.
"You miss sitting on the couch at home and doing what you want to do. Nothing is fun anymore.
After the fire, several local forces have supported residents. Among other things, with clothes and hygiene items. The municipality is working intensively to help those affected with apartments.
No technical investigation
The police have decided not to carry out any technical investigation after the fire. Simply because the place is so ruined.
"It doesn't make sense. There are also no indications that it is a crime that is behind it, said Robert Loeffel, police spokesman.
The investigation will instead focus on witness statements.
