In 2020 and until 2022, Ms. Moreno held the position of Minister Delegate for Gender Equality, Diversity and Equal Opportunities in the government of former Prime Minister Jean Castex.
Previously, she worked in various companies, such as France Telecom (now Orange), Dell and Lenovo or Hewlett Packard where she was responsible for the African continent.
She will now serve on Sanofi's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee along with entrepreneur Caroline Casey and author and speaker Rohini Anand, both of whom specialize in inclusion and diversity issues.
Established in 2022, the advisory body supports Sanofi's diversity, equity and inclusion strategy, monitors progress toward the company's 2025 goals, and provides advice to amplify its impact in this area, the company said in a statement.
Questioned by AFP, a spokesman said that Moreno's activity would be paid, but she would not be an employee of the group.
