It is noted that the resolution contains an order to US President Joe Biden to hand over to the House of Representatives copies of documents on planned military assistance for Ukraine.
"In addition, the resolution directs Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin to disclose the number of troops, including special forces, stationed in Ukraine without congressional authorization," Goetz said in a statement on its website.
If the resolution is adopted, it will need to be implemented within two weeks.
On March 16, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre expressed confidence that President Joe Biden's administration would have enough funds to help Ukraine until the end of September, when the current fiscal year ends in the United States.
