At the weekend, fighting broke out in Sudan between the army and the paramilitary group Rappid Support Forces (RSF). By then, 97 people had been reported dead and 365 people were reported injured.

On Monday, reports from the UN that the death toll had doubled.

On Saturday, the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs advised against all travel to Sudan after two days of fighting in Khartoum and other parts of the country.
