It was already in September that the lease negotiations for 2023 started. Gotlandshem then demanded an increase of 9.95 percent. After several negotiation meetings where the parties were far apart, the Rental Market Committee was brought in in December. The committee then decided on an increase of 4.9 percent.

"We understand that the rent adjustment can have a major impact on many of our tenants. But the fact that the result of this lease negotiation ends in an agreement that is about half as large as our claim, means that we will not be able to make provisions for maintenance again this year, says Lina Runander, Head of Customer Service and Negotiation Manager.
