With a score of 14.000, Gadirova was ahead of her compatriot Alice Kinsella (13.666 pts) and Romania's Sabrina Maneca-Voinea (13.566 pts).

The 18-year-old Briton, world champion in exercise five months ago, won her third title of the week after gold in the all-around and team events.

"I had so much fun. That's why I go to the gym," said the woman who now has six European gold medals. "It's been an amazing week, I can't believe it. I couldn't have asked for anything more."

Also competing in the beam final, she was only able to take seventh place after an unusual crash on the outing.

Sanne Wevers of the Netherlands won the apparatus ahead of Italy's Manila Esposito and Hungary's Zsofia Kovacs.

On the French side, the only French rider, Cameron-Lie Bernard, took fifth place in the parallel bars final, won by Ukraine's Illia Kovtun

In the absence of the reigning European champion, Britain's Joe Fraser, the Ukrainian scored 15.166 points, which allowed him to beat Turkey's Ferhat Arican in front of his home crowd (14.933 pts). It was the first international title for 19-year-old Kovtun, who won moments after the bronze medal on the fixed bar.

For his first European Championships, Bernard, 24, performed a stable and controlled exercise on his favorite apparatus, rewarded with 14,366 points.

Thinking of Antwerp

"It was a stressful final because it was going very fast," he said. "I managed to reach this final and make a move. Fifth European, it's a mouthful, I'm happy. The results of these European Championships are positive, I think."

The men's delegation of Les Bleus leaves Antalya without a medal but with four finalist places and especially a seventh place by teams, which offers them a team ticket for the World Championships, their main objective before the start of the competition.

The World Championships in Antwerp in October will be crucial to aim for a team qualification for the Paris Olympics.

"We're not thinking about Paris yet, we're thinking about Antwerp, that's where it's going to happen. When we see the France in the twelve best nations, that's where we can talk about Paris, but not before," Bernard told France Télévisions.

In the other finals of the day, Croatia's Tin Srbic won the fixed bar, while Armenia's Artur Davtyan, won the European vault title ahead of the defending champion, Britain's Jake Jarman.
