This is reported by TASS with reference to the statement of the Hungarian Minister of Agriculture Istvan Nagy.

"In the absence of meaningful EU measures, it (the Hungarian government. - RT) temporarily, like Poland, prohibits the import of grain and oilseeds, as well as a number of other agricultural products produced in Ukraine or coming from there to Hungary, "he said.

It is noted that Hungary expects the European Union to take measures to support farmers, as well as revise the rules for duty-free import of Ukrainian agricultural products.

Earlier it was reported that the Polish Cabinet of Ministers authorized the heads of relevant departments to temporarily ban the import of Ukrainian grain.

In this regard, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine accused Poland of violating the agreements on Ukrainian grain.
