It is the Voluntary Automobile Corps that has invited you to a unique opportunity to test drive a tracked vehicle. The training is aimed at those who are interested in engaging in crisis preparedness.

"It's a special vehicle that we use to support society in crises. Forest fires, floods, evacuations. The hope is that the participants will want to get involved in our activities, says Jonas Bärnheim, Head of the Student Union.

"A bit tricky"

Marie Robé is one of the six participants who got the chance to attend the training in Karlskrona during the weekend. She has a truck driver's license and has competed in folk races – but driving a tracked vehicle was something new.

"It's a bit tricky to get around the cones, but it's fun to test. It may lead to me being able to help with efforts, she says.
